Disaster Assistance Available

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster assistance has been made available for the July 27, 2026 Severe Storms that affected Will County. Homeowners, renters, businesses, and some nonprofit groups may be able to apply for low-interest loans to help pay for damage or losses not covered by insurance.​​​​

• Private non-profit organizations​​

 

You must be located in a declared disaster area and meet other eligibility criteria depending on the type of loan.​​

  • This location will be closed for Labor Day on September 7

What Types of Disaster Loans are Available?

• Physical damage loans

  • Loans to cover repairs and replacement of physical assets damaged in a declared disaster.

• Mitigation Assistance

  • Expanded funding to make improvements to eliminate future damage.

• Economic Injury Disaster Loans

  • Funding to cover small business operating expenses after a declared disaster.
